JetBlue has decided not to appeal the court’s decision to block its Northeast airline alliance with American Airlines, reports TravelMole.
Although a representative at JetBlue said they disagree with the ruling, the company wants to concentrate on its takeover of Spirit Airlines. Last year, JetBlue secured shareholder support to acquire Spirit Airlines after a bidding war with Frontier Airlines. The Justice Department sued to prevent this deal as well.
Meanwhile, American Airlines said it will still appeal the ruling.
