Las Vegas Hotels Deny Conspiring to Artificially Raise Room Rates

Lawyers for several prominent Las Vegas strip hotel operators, including Treasure Island LLC, MGM Resorts International, Wynn Resorts Holdings LLC, and Caesar’s Entertainment Inc, filed a motion 03APR requesting a U.S. court dismiss a lawsuit filed by tourists accusing them of conspiring to artificially boost room rates.

The hotel operators said there was no evidence in the lawsuit backing the claim. The lawsuit alleges the hotels set room rates using shared pricing algorithms rather than acting independently.
