The Government of Canada has committed to doing more to accommodate persons with disabilities when they travel by air, reports Global News. However, air rights advocates say an update from the government is all talk and little action.
Disability Inclusion Minister Carla Qualtrough and Transport Minister Omar Alghabra met with the National Airlines Council of Canada to discuss the issues. Ottawa has announced a list of actions it plans to take, including enhancing regulations that improve services and focusing on disability and inclusion training.
