LHR: More Strikes Planned in MAY to Affect Thousands of Flights

Another set of strikes are set to hit LHR in MAY as airport security staff continue negotiations for higher pay, according to Simple Flying. Workers will walk off the job 04-06MAY, 09-10MAY, and 25-27MAY. The strike will affect T5, which handles most British Airways flights. Other terminals will not be affected by the strike.

The first strike will coincide with the coronation of King Charles on 06MAY, when thousands of tourists are expected to be visiting London.

T5 workers have been in dispute with the airport for some time, and most recently executed a 10-day walkout from 31MAR through Easter.
