Pilot shortages have been an ongoing issue since the pandemic, with the demand for commercial pilots being much higher than the current supply. As a result, companies are struggling to hire and retain their pilots.
As Open Jaw reported, WestJet pilots are preparing for a potential strike that can begin as early as 16MAY.
