Meet The New Cruise Brands Entering Service in 2023

At least five new cruise lines are planning to launch services in 2023.

Explora Journeys, the luxury line inspiration owned by MSC, is launching its very first ship, Explora I, on 27JUL in Northern Europe. It promises to transform luxury cruises into “ocean journeys”.

Adora Cruises, the result of a partnership between Carnival Corporation and China State Shipbuilding Corporation. is launching a new service sometime in 2023 in East Asia.

After acquiring Holland America’s former Maasdam in 2022, CFC aims to fill a gap in the French market by developing a premium product with all guest-facing staff fluent in French, launching in May.

New line, Exploris, is launching the first of a planned fleet of small expedition vessels for the French Market this coming December, and will be led by Philippe Videau, one of Ponant’s founders.

After being acquired by Abercrombie & Kent in 2022, Crystal Cruises is relaunching Crystal Serenity and Crystal Symphony in July.
