MGM Resorts International is facing a lawsuit over its use of resort fees. Travelers United, a nonprofit travel advocacy group, has filed a lawsuit against the Las Vegas-based casino operator accusing the company of charging “deceptive” resort fees. MGM’s website says its daily resort fee covers guest amenities including high speed internet access, unlimited local and toll-free calls, airline boarding pass printing and fitness centre access. The mandatory fees are charged at every U.S. property and range from US$15 to US$45 per day, according to the lawsuit.
