Montreal Airport Fee to Increase to CAD $40 in March 2024

The Gazette reports that Trudeau Airport will increase its airport improvement fee by CAD $5 to CAD $40 beginning 01MAR. The fee is included in the departing traveller’s plane ticket price.

Aéroports de Montréal (ADM) said the additional revenue from the fee increase will finance the renovation of infrastructure and installations as a growing number of passengers use the airport.

The last improvement fee increase was in 2021, when ADM raised the fee from CAD $30 to CAD $35.

Pearson Airport in Toronto increased its improvement fee to CAD $35 last JAN.
