Most Floridians Disagree w DeSantis; say it’s OK to Require Vax for Cruise Pax: Poll

A recent survey from University of South Florida School of Public Affairs found that 76 per cent of Floridian respondents disagreed with Florida Gov. Ron Ron DeSantis’ policy which bans cruise lines from requiring passengers to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination. It also found that 43 per cent said it should be mandatory for passengers to provide proof of vaccination on all cruises that port in Florida. Another 33 per cent said it should be up to individual cruise lines to decide this requirement. When it came to theme parks, respondents did not support vaccine requirements as much, with 31 per cent saying theme parks should not require guests to show proof, 40 per cent saying it should be up to individual parks, and the remainder saying it should be mandatory.
