MSC Cruises confirmed that the naming ceremony for its newest flagship, MSC Virtuosa, will take place in Dubai on 27NOV 2021. Hosted at Port Rashid, the event will take place with partners Dubai Tourism, DP World and Emirates Airline, and will feature live entertainment, performances, and guests invited from around the world. The naming ceremony will also be a part of the celebrations surrounding the Golden Jubilee of the UAE and will be staged as Dubai welcomes the world to Expo 2020. The name “Virtuosa” derives from the Italian word virtuoso and refers to the master craftsmen who designed the ship.
