Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris Scheduled to Reopen in DEC 2024

Notre Dame Cathedral will reopen in DEC, 2024, less than six years after a fire that caved in its roof and collapsed its spire in 2019

CBC reports reconstruction using 12th century techniques started in 2021 following work to stabilise the iconic Parisian landmark so that up to 1000 artisans could safely work on rebuilding it.

Travellers can visit an art exhibition located in an underground facility in front of Notre Dame to experience the cathedral in what’s described as a “brand new way." Paying visitors will be able to experience the cathedral’s history through a virtual reality show.
