Office-supply Giant Staples Eyes Expansion of Travel Services to Bookings

Staples has expanded its travel-related services to include TSA PreCheck enrollment in 220 locations, reports Travel Weekly.

According to the office supply company, this move is just the beginning of its venture into the travel industry. Staples also offers travel services such as passport photos, standard and expedited passport renewals, and various travel products.

With overwhelmingly positive customer feedback, Staples plans to increase awareness of its travel services, especially among small-business owners. “OK, where else do we think there's a need for a thousand stores to participate and bring travel to that population center?" one company exec said. "You think about booking experience and education, inspiration around travel -- while we're not there yet, that is definitely on the horizon for us…” to become “more of that destination for all things travel."
