The US Coast Guard says an over-pressurized Zodiac is responsible for an accident that severely injured a US passenger during a Viking Antarctic cruise this past Dec., according to Seatrade. One person was injured when a Zodiac exploded and launched a passenger high into the air, breaking her leg. Another passenger was thrown into the water, risking hypothermia.
