Pond Capacity: 50 New Transatlantic Routes Start In June 2023

A total of 50 new air routes will connect North Americans to Europe this summer, reports Aviation Week.

Two-way capacity between North America and Europe is forecasted to hit 2.56 million weekly seats by the end of JUN, marking the highest number of available seats since SEPT 2019.

A total of 423 airport pairs will receive nonstop flights during the month, including two new Air Canada routes from YUL, which will connect Amsterdam and Toulouse with Boeing 787-8 aircraft and Airbus A330-300s.
