Power Restored at YYC After Outage; Operations May Still Be Delayed

Calgary airport experienced flight delays on Tuesday 27JUN due to a temporary power outage that affected the baggage system and the International Terminal Building, reports CBC News.

The Calgary Airport Authority notified passengers around 2 p.m. local time, and later confirmed that several flights were delayed. Power was restored before 6 p.m., but offloading and boarding delays continued.

WestJet said it expected delays to continue on 28JUN across its network as they work to recover operations. No further updates have been provided at time of Open Jaw publishing on 28JUN.
