Princess, HAL, Seabourn, Cunard Parent Co. Introduces 2030 Sustainability Goal, Including Climate Action

Carnival Corporation, the parent company of cruise lines such as Princess, Holland America Line, Seabourn, and Cunard, has introduced its 2030 sustainability goal. The company aims to reduce carbon rates by 40 per cent per available lower berth day by 2030, and also aims to have net carbon neutral operations by 2050. Carbon neutrality is one of the company’s six focus areas for 2050, as well as climate action, waste reduction, sustainable tourism, health and well-being, diversity, equity and inclusion, and biodiversity and conservation. The company set key goals and targets for each of these six areas as it aligns with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals.
