Puerto Rico to Require All Hotel Guests to Be Vaccinated

On 16AUG 2021, Puerto Rico is set to update its travel requirements to require vaccinations for all guests and employees of hotels, guest houses and short-term rentals on the island. Those not vaccinated must present a negative COVID-19 test result taken within 72 hours of arrival. Unvaccinated travelers staying longer than one week must continue to present negative tests on a weekly basis. This applies to all travellers over the age of 12. Regardless of vaccination status, all travellers must visit Puerto Rico’s TravelSafe PR health portal to upload all relevant documents and information. When the info is uploaded and approved, individuals receive a QR code that will expedite arrival when landing.
