This may be a type of story we’ll be hearing more of as re-opening of travel and tourism across Canada continues at its lurching pace. At the beginning of the pandemic in 2020, White Point Beach Resort in South Shore, Nova Scotia implemented a policy that only allowed guests from the Atlantic Canada ‘Bubble’, turning away all other potential guests. Nova Scotia interprovincial travel rules have changed - but that resort didn’t quite catch up. It came as a surprise to some visitors who tried to visit, as other businesses in the province did not have such restrictions. Now, White Point Beach Resort has notified potential guests that it will be ending the policy, and will welcome back Canadians outside the Atlantic region beginning 14JUL 2021.
