Norwegian’s MS MAUD, sailing in the North Sea, lost its ability to navigate and all electricity after it was hit by a rogue wave. No passengers or crew were injured. Experts say rogue waves are more than twice the size of other waves and are uncommon and unpredictable. The ship is now stabilized and being towed to Germany.
