Royal Caribbean Bars Passengers not Vaccinated for COVID-19 from Cruise to Alaska

At least six passengers who were not vaccinated against COVID-19 were not allowed to board a cruise on Royal Caribbean to Alaska on Ovation of the Seas. The barred passengers apparently thought that only a negative COVID-19 test taken 72 hours before departure was required. However, Royal Caribbean’s vaccination policy was updated on 01AUG, stating that all passengers on cruises departing from U.S. ports except for Florida must be fully vaccinated.
