Royal Caribbean has officially claimed the title of owning the world's largest cruise ship, Icon of the Seas, reports NBC News.
Accepting delivery in Turku, Finland, the 20-deck, 250,800-ton vessel surpasses its predecessor, the Wonder of the Seas, by over 6%, featuring eight neighbourhoods, seven pools, six record-breaking waterslides, and approximately 40 dining options.
Built over 900 days, the ship sets sail from PortMiami on 27JAN, 2024, marking more than 50 years of Royal Caribbean's innovation. Noteworthy is Thrill Island, which hosts Category 6, the world's largest water park at sea.
