Royal Caribbean's Second Ship to Resume Cruises May Be Outside U.S.; Quantum Capacity to Increase

The Royal Caribbean Group's second ship to resume sailing may be outside the U.S., according to CFO Jason Liberty. Royal Caribbean International president and CEO, Michael Bayley, added: “We're literally in discussions with governments around the world. There's a lot of opportunity starting to open up globally in terms of what's occurring globally with COVID, so we are in discussions around the world.” RCI’s Quantum of the Seas was the line’s first ship to restart short cruises from Singapore, in DEC. Now, passenger capacity may be increased from 50 per cent to 65 per cent in the coming weeks, Bayley said.
