Saudi Arabia Reopens to Vaccinated Americans as it Tries to Rebrand to Tourists

Saudi Arabia reopened to vaccinated tourists on 01AUG after 18 months of restrictions. The country is looking into rebranding itself as a unique tourist destination in an effort to boost non-oil revenue and create more jobs. Guests from 49 approved countries will be allowed to enter if they can provide a negative PCR test before travel and have vaccine certificates proving a single dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine or two doses of the Pfizer/BioNTech, Moderna or Oxford/AstraZeneca vaccines.
