Smoke from Canadian Wildfires Snarling New York City Flights, with Ground Stops and Delays

Smoke from wildfires in Canada has engulfed the northeastern U.S. leading the FAA to slow down or halt flights at LaGuardia and Newark, reports Business Insider. 

Both airports were on ground stops throughout the afternoon of 07JUN, meaning all inbound flights were halted. They are now operating with ground delays. So far, JFK remains unaffected.
