Southwest Airlines Flights Resume in U.S. After Ground Stoppage Due to Technical Issue

All Southwest Airlines flights were briefly grounded on the morning of 18APR due to a technical problem, the Globe and Mail reports. Southwest requested that the FAA pause its departures due to what it described as an issue with a vendor-supplied firewall. More than 2,200 flights were delayed, but only around a dozen were cancelled.
