The U.S. is Open but Some Canadians Reluctant to Visit Due to Covid Fears

While the U.S. has reopened its borders to fully vaccinated travellers on 08NOV, a new survey from Morning Consult reports that many international visitors are still reluctant to visit. Across all 11 countries surveyed, including Canada, the U.K., Germany, and France, respondents were much more likely to say they don’t feel comfortable planning a trip anywhere in the U.S. Travellers from China and Canada, which account for a combined 30 per cent of U.S. inbound travellers in 2019, express the most reluctance to visit.
