For the sixth year in a row, Finland has been named the happiest country in the world, according to the World Happiness Report. The Northernmost European countries overall top the happiness list, with Denmark, Iceland, Israel and the Netherlands rounding out the top 5 entries. Canada was ranked 13th overall, between Australia and Ireland.
Afghanistan came last at 137th overall. The report ranks country’s relative happiness levels based mainly on life evaluation data from the Gallup World Poll.
