TICO Approves 12 Pax Compensation Claims for Over $50,000

TICO has announced it approved 11 claims against the Ontario Travel Industry Compensation Fund on 12APR. The claims totalled CAD $$52,520 for 35 consumers who did not receive the travel services for which they had paid.

Nine of the claims were against Rejoice Holidays, which accounted for 30 passengers and $39,664 in claims. The other two claims were against Crystal Cruises and World Travel Inc. Two more claims against Crystal Cruises and one against Fly Jamaica were denied, and another claim against Crystal Cruises was partially denied.
