TICO has announced it approved 11 claims against the Ontario Travel Industry Compensation Fund on 28FEB. The claims totalled CAD $62,012 for 37 consumers who did not receive travel services they had paid for.
Nine of the claims involved Crystal Cruises, which accounted for 22 passengers and $58,246 in claims. The other claims were against Jacco Tours and Luxury Travel Centre Inc. An additional claim against Crystal Cruises was denied as it was received after the filing deadline.
