TICO Closure and Claim Process Advisory: Interjet Airlines

Mexican carrier Interjet Airlines ceased operations on 11DEC, 2020 and was declared bankrupt on 10APR, 2023. In response, TICO has announced that Interjet Airlines customers who purchased travel services from an Ontario-registered travel agency and did not receive their travel services due to the closure of the airline may file a claim with TICO for reimbursement.

There is a six-month filing deadline for compensation, which ends on 11OCT. Claims submitted after that date will not be considered.
