TICO Inaugurates its Consumer and Industry Advisory Committee

The Travel Industry Council of Ontario held the inaugural meeting of its Consumer Industry Advisory Committee (CIAC), and announced its members. Among them are; Angela Dennis of Better Business Bureau Serving Central Ontario Inc. (consumer representative), Carol Greenwood of theTourism Industry Association of Ontario, Dan Langevin of Softvoyage Inc, Elliot Finkelman of Expedia Cruises, Howard Lichtman of Ethnicity Matters (consumer representative), Joanne Gellatly of George Brown College, Judith Coates of the Association of Canadian Independent Travel Advisors, Lorraine Nowina (consumer representative) and Richard Ollier of the Travel Health Insurance Association of Canada. The CIAC is intended to gather leaders with broad consumer and travel industry experience in a forum to exchange ideas, identify and discuss emerging issues in the travel sector.
