Transat A.T Inc. has successfully concluded the sale of its land property in Puerto Morelos, Mexico to Finest Resorts, a luxury resort group belonging to the Excellence Collection, for a total of USD $38 million, reports Skies Magazine.
This transaction, which was initially announced on 10JUL 2023, aligns with Transat's strategic plan of refocusing on its airline activities. The proceeds from the sale will be used to repay a portion of the corporation's debt.
