Transport Committee Meets 12JAN with Minister, Air and Rail Execs, Affected Pax Testifying about Holiday Travel Failures

MP’s on the House of Commons transport committee from all parties met this week and unanimously agreed, according to the National Post, to a witness list for a series of meetings to address the holiday travel meltdown that left travellers stranded in airports, destinations and on trains. 

The report says top leadership from Sunwing and also WestJet and Air Canada, as well as VIA Rail, are on the list of those called to be questioned by the committee, as well as airport officials, consumer advocates and affected passengers themselves.
