Tropical Storm Grace Affects Caribbean Islands

Travellers on the way to Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, and Haiti may want to take note of the latest travel information regarding Tropical Storm Grace, with landfall began along the southeastern coast of the Dominican Republic on 16AUG. From there, it is predicted to move across the Dominican Republic and Haiti. The storm’s maximum sustained winds are 40 miles per hour, categorized as a minimal tropical storm, and is expected to eventually weaken to a tropical depression status over Haiti before strengthening back to a tropical storm prior to approaching the easternmost point of Cuba. A tropical storm warning is in effect for the United States Virgin Islands; Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, and the entire coast of Haiti.
