Cruise Industry News has gathered a collection of vaccination policies across a variety of cruise lines. As it is sailing from many U.S. ports, Carnival Cruise Line is currently requiring most of its guests to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, with the only exceptions being those under the age of 12 and “those unable to be vaccinated,” according to the line. Meanwhile, Royal Caribbean International's vaccination requirements vary by port of departure and age group. Those departing from the U.S. must present proof of vaccination for all those 12 and older, while this rule applies to those 18 and older guests departing from European ports. Even still, Royal Caribbean notes that vaccination requirements may vary by itinerary. Norwegian Cruise Line is sailing 100-percent vaccinated cruises through the end of 2021, even for all children. MSC Cruises’ requirements vary by region and country of origin, with US passengers required to be fully vaccinated, those 12 and over required to be vaccinated in Mediterranean and Northern Europe cruises, and the rules differing by country in the E.U. Princess Cruises is currently sailing fully vaccinated for all guests, including children, through the end of the year. Celebrity Cruises is requiring vaccinations for all those 12 and over. Holland America Line will require guests to be fully vaccinated for every destination the brand is sailing in 2021.
