Vancouver Tourism Says Lack of Hotel Beds Will Cost B.C. Billions

Destination Vancouver released a study on 06MAR saying a lack of hotel rooms will soon cost the province’s economy billions in missed tourism revenues.

According to the tourism study, demand for rooms in the summer will exceed supply by 2026 in the City of Vancouver, while Metro Vancouver will experience shortages by the summer of 2028.
