Visitors Will be Allowed in Florence Chapel's Secret Room to Ponder if Drawings are Michelangelo's

Visitors to Florence's Medici Chapel will soon have a unique opportunity to explore a hidden, 500-year-old secret room, just 10-by-3 meters in size, containing delicate charcoal drawings, reports CP24.

Discovered in 1975 during a search for a new exit, these drawings have sparked ongoing debates among experts about their attribution to Michelangelo. The room, once used for coal storage, remained sealed and forgotten for decades, its drawings concealed under layers of plaster.

Starting 15NOV, the room will be accessible to the public on a limited basis, with up to four visitors at a time spending a maximum of 15 minutes inside.
