Why do Canadians Want to Travel in 2022? Survey says Mental Wellness Tops the List

According to a new report on traveller trends in 2022 from Expedia, around two-thirds of Canadian respondents are planning a “no-regrets” type of adventure for their next trip. Around 41 per cent of Canadians are seeking contentment/mental well-being out of a trip, while around a third of Canadians said they are seeking gratification and excitement. A quarter of respondents said that they’d be more willing to travel to places that were completely different from their own home or culture, while 19 per cent said they’d consider visiting a destination they would never have thought of before the pandemic.
