Why Porter Is A Gateway For The Embraer E2 In The United States

Despite gaining popularity and expanding its order book, the Embraer E2 is yet to secure an order from a U.S.-based airline, reports SimpleFlying

However, Porter Airlines is the first North American operator of the E2 after receiving its first E195-E2 in DEC. The carrier currently has a fleet of 10 units, with a total of 50 firm aircraft on order. Porter deploys the aircraft on all of its YYZ routes and has plans to deploy it south of the border. 

Embraer president & CEO shared his excitement about its prospects with the exposure Porter is providing the aircraft.
