The cruise line will debut its latest ship, the Norwegian Encore, in Seattle on 07AUG 2021, which will set sail to Alaska. Guests and crew are required to be fully vaccinated to sail for voyages through 31OCT 2021. Health and safety protocols will continue to be evaluated and modified as needed.

All voyages in the U.S. are contingent on receiving approval from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Norwegian's Peace of Mind cancellation policy remains in effect for guests sailing until 31OCT 2021. These guests can cancel their cruises 15 days prior to departure and will receive future cruise credit that can be applied to any voyage until 31DEC 2021. The line also recently extended its 60-day final payment requirement to all voyages with embarkations through 31DEC 2021 instead of the standard 120 days.

"We are very excited to sail in the U.S. again, and to sail first with our latest beautiful ship Norwegian Encore," said Harry Sommer, president and chief executive officer of Norwegian Cruise Line.
