Air Canada Vacations Expands Winter Sun Routes from Western Canada

Air Canada Vacations announced a new set of 2021/2022 winter flights beginning in NOV 2021 for travellers in Western Canada looking to go to sun destinations such as Cancun, Puerto Vallarta, Mexico City and more.

Air Canada will be flying from major Canadian destinations in Western Canada to 31 destinations in Mexico, the Caribbean and Central America.

“Our customers have been dreaming of sunshine, clear blue waters and warm sand between their toes for over a year now, and we want to make it easier than ever for them to turn those dreams into reality. By expanding our routes in Western Canada, we’re getting them one step closer to experiencing the beach getaway they’ve been longing for with the convenience of nonstop flights,” said Nino Montagnese, Vice President, Air Canada Vacations.

“We’re excited to offer Canadians more opportunities to take a break from the cold this winter and create sunny vacation memories.”

The newly announced flight schedule is as follows:

When booking, travellers can benefit from Air Canada Vacations’ Travel with Confidence policy which ensures health & safety standards.

Those who book before 22AUG 2021 for travel until 15DEC 2021 are eligible for 50 per cent off on travel protection. For more details, visit Air Canada Vacations' page.

Those who book before 25JUL 2021 for travel through 31OCT 2021 may receive exclusive COVID-19 coverage and early booking bonuses.

Changes to COVID-19 Insurance Coverage

New Air Canada Vacations bookings made on 26JUL and after to international destinations will no longer include the COVID-19 Coverage & Assistance plan administered by Allianz Global Assistance. Details can be found here.

Until 25JUL 2021, early bookings include free CareFlexPlus protection plan providing customers with the flexibility to transfer their package, change their departure date, destination or hotel up to 7 days prior to departure, or cancel with a full refund up until 25 days prior to departure.

In addition, travellers can reduced deposit of $50 per person and savings of up to $400 per family ($100 per adult and $100 per child) when booking their 2021/2022 holiday with a travel professional. More details on these deals can be found here.
