Paradisus Varadero, one of Paradisus by Meliá's flagship eco-resorts in Cuba, reopened following extensive renovations.
Located at the Hicacos Peninsula in Varadero, Cuba, the all-inclusive 5-star hotel has remodeled all of its floors on its standard section. Changes there include updates for the bathrooms and floors as well as changes to the furniture, textiles and lighting. The reception, the lobby and the lobby bar in the standard section have also received updates with new furniture, lighting systems and decorative elements.
Paradisus Varadero's swimming pool has also been updated with added visual appeal. The pool itself covers 2,400 square meters and has areas for recreation and splash, as well as a section specially designed for children.
There have also been significant updates to the resort's dining options, with new national and international cuisine added. Other dining options of note include the beach “ranchón,” which includes a new grill along with an updated design. The rest of the food options at the resort have also received cosmetic updates.
In addition to its standard section, Paradisus Varadero contains the Royal Service and The Reserve areas, the latter catering to families.
The resort offers a variety of wellness and spa sections for those looking to relax, as well as an entertainment program for travellers looking to experience authentic Cuban culture. The resort notes that it caters to a variety of travellers and audiences, including couples, groups or family vacations, as well as weddings, honeymoons, meetings and events of all kinds.
