Karisma Hotels & Resorts has announced that it is expanding its Azul Beach Resorts portfolio with two new properties set to open in the Dominican Republic on 01NOV.
Azul Beach Resort Punta Cana
Azul Beach Resort Punta Cana, set on Uvero Alto Beach, is a rebranding of the previous Sensatori Punta Cana, also by Karisma. With 252 suites, the resort has options for families, as well as an adults-only section featuring honeymoon and swim-up suites. Highlights of amenities include a Gourmet Village featuring seven restaurants, six bars, two pools and a spa.
Dining options include a wide range of international cuisine and cocktails. This ranges from the open kitchen layout of Sugarcane, aromas of spices at Wok Wok to the flavors of Italy at Verdello. Jazmin Swim-Up Bar and Deck also offers guests a tropical outdoor bar setting.

Azul Beach Resort Cap Cana
Azul Beach Resort Cap Cana, set on Playa Juanillo, is located 15 minutes away from PUJ. Beyond the beach, Playa Juanillo also contains many attractions such as a variety of culinary options, opportunities for shopping, a golf course, marina and more.
The resort will have 251 suites with a variety of accommodation options such as beachfront swim-up suites, beachfront suites for couples, as well as family swim-up suites for parents and couples. Guests staying at Azul Beach Resort Cap Cana will also have access to shared amenities with Margaritaville Island Reserve Cap Cana, which opens at around the same time in NOV. Added amenities will include a combined total of 11 restaurants and three bars, among others.
Other highlights include live entertainment and nightlife at the Entertainment Village, daily entertainment and tropical tunes at the Margaritaville Main Stage, daily activities at Sports Hub including pickleball, tennis, aqua fitness classes, The Playhouse area for children and more.
Azul Beach Resort Cap Cana also offers a variety of dining options, such as the pastas at Frank & Lola's Italian Trattoria, crafted rum cocktails at Rum Runners, the prime cuts at JWB Steakhouse and more. It also features Punch Bar, where mixologists will craft drinks for Entertainment Village guests.
Guests can also enjoy the 11,00-square-foot oasis of St. Somewhere Spa, with 15 treatment rooms and a full-service beauty salon.
