Accor has announced the opening of a new flagship Novotel hotel in the North and Central American Region, Novotel Mexico City Toreo. The hotel is located in Naucalpan de Juárez, one of Mexico City's main business hubs with shopping centers and tourist destinations located close by.
“We are very excited to open the third Novotel in Mexico and the first in North and Central America with the brand’s new innovative design,” said Napoleon Flores, General Manager at Novotel Mexico City Toreo. “The property is a true reflection of the location inspired by the lively neighborhood and a modern aesthetic.”
“Novotel Mexico City Toreo’s arrival depicts a new era of design for the Novotel brand that provides owners and franchisee partners with a flexible, non-standardized design model that can be tailored to the unique character of the destination in mind,” stated Mark Purcell, Senior Vice President of Development, Accor North & Central America. “Mexico is a thriving market with immense growth opportunities for Accor. This property is just one of the many exciting Accor developments in the pipeline, with another 10 new properties, ranging from economy to lifestyle and luxury, scheduled to open in Mexico within the next few years.”

The hotel is LEED Gold Core & Shell certified, with 168 rooms total - 116 Superior Rooms, 20 Executive Rooms, 20 Superior Suites, and 12 Master Suites. Each room has an avant-garde design with European-inspired furnishings. Earlier in 2021, Novotel selected four international designers to create new design concepts for the brand to be applied to its international portfolio. The Sundokovy Sisters, one of the chosen design studios, led the creative process for this property's suites for a contemporary style and unique co-living spaces.

Idea Asociados, a sustainable architectural firm from Mexico, design the interiors and all the other areas of the hotel, which is inspired by Novotel Mexico City Toreo's urban surroundings for a contemporary feel.
Culinary options at the hotel include Heliana, which features Mediterranean flavours with Mexican touches. Its open kitchen concept offers continental breakfast and buffet breakfast, lunch, dinner, and room service 24 hours a day. Socio Bar also offers cocktails and snacks for guests to enjoy throughout the day.
Novotel Mexico City Toreo also hosts many amenities and workspaces for business and meeting purposes. The hotel features multiple co-working areas, as well as a business center and five meeting rooms for a total of 3,600 square feet of meeting and events space. Three business lounge-style meeting rooms are also available for informal meetings.

The new Novotel Mexico City Toreo is part of the Accor’s loyalty program, ALL - Accor Live Limitless, that provides access to a wide variety of rewards, services and experiences through its portfolio of properties and brands including Novotel, Fairmont, Raffles, Sofitel, SBE, Pullman, Mercure, Ibis and more.
