
Two new luxury hotels have opened recently in New Orleans: Virgin Hotels New Orleans, and Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences New Orleans.
Virgin Hotels

Virgin Hotels New Orleans opened in the city's Warehouse District, located near the Central Business District which is home to a number of new restaurants, galleries and shops. The hotel has 238 guest rooms, and grand chamber suites, ranging from 294 to 1,097-square feet in size. Virgin Hotels describes the design as having "authentic New Orleans flair," with local art, historical details, and Art Deco-inspired elements all throughout the hotel's design.
The hotel has a variety of dining and drink options, including the Dreamboat cocktail lounge; and The Pool Club, a rooftop pool, restaurant, and bar. It also feature's the brand's flagship space, Commons Club, a gym, and dedicated meeting and event spaces.

Four Seasons

Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences New Orleans contains 341 rooms and is located on the Mississippi waterfront at the foot of Canal Street, in the city's Central Business District. This location is situated by New Orleans' historic French Quarter, the Warehouse Arts District and other green spaces.
Dining options include Chandelier Bar by the hotel's main entrance with a garden patio. Guests can enjoy Beverage Manager Hadi Ktiri’s inventive drinks menu underneath a 15,000-piece chandelier with live music offered year round. Another option for guests include Miss River on the lobby level, presented by acclaimed New Orleans Chef Alon Shaya. Cuisine here is a fresh take on New Orleans classics. In fall 2021, Chemin a la Mer by award-winning chef Donald Link is opening to offer guests with Louisiana cuisine.
This fall, Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences New Orleans will also open its crescent-shaped rooftop swimming pool surrounded by four private cabanas and Mississippi River views; a 24/7 fitness centre; and a spa.
Guests staying at the hotel can enjoy its curated art collection featuring local artists and those inspired by the city. Set within indoor and outdoor observation decks on the Hotel’s 33rd and 34th floors is also a cultural exhibit designed to honour, celebrate and share stories of the cultures which make up New Orleans.
