Ultra-low-cost carrier Flair Airlines has announced new service from YWG with twice weekly nonstop flights to Regina (YQR) and Saskatoon (YXE) in spring 2022.

The new routes are part of Flair’s growth as the airline expands its fleet to 16 aircraft and creates new connections across North America, as previously reported by OpenJaw.

Flair Airlines' new service from YWG to Saskatchewan:

  • YWG - YQR: 2x weekly starting 14APR 2022
  • YWG - YXE: 2x weekly starting 16APR 2022

According to Flair, fares on the new routes will start at CAD $49 one-way for both the YWG-YQR and YWG-YXE routes, including taxes and fees.

“Low fare travel has arrived for the Prairies and we are excited to connect more families and travelers in Manitoba and Saskatchewan,” said Stephen Jones, President and CEO, Flair Airlines.

“Connecting Regina and Saskatoon to Winnipeg with sustainably low fares is an important step in Flair’s growth and we know our customers will love the service.”

Flair is adding new 737 MAX aircraft to its fleet in 2022, which is intended to deliver fuel savings and reduce the airline’s CO2 emissions by 14 per cent, according to the airline. Flair recently announced a 33 per cent increase in its fleet and additional routes within Canada and to the U.S.
