VIA Rail has announced the return of Ocean's second frequency starting on 08DEC as the next phase of the company's gradual service resumption. Train 14 running from Montreal to Halifax will resume on 08DEC, while Train 15 will resume service from Halifax to Montreal on 12DEC.

As previously reported by OpenJaw, VIA Rail is set to return to full operations in Canada by JUN 2022.
VIA Rail's current health protocols includes mandatory vaccination, required mask wearing, and increased cleaning and sanitizing on its trains, in its stations, maintenance centres, call centres and offices.
