Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts invites travellers to take part in special festivities for Christmas, New Year’s, and the traditional coming of Three Wise Men.

Christmas Song Contests
On 23DEC, hotel guests will be able to compete in a friendly contest to determine the best singer. The top performances will be rewarded with special gifts and treats.
Christmas Eve
Each property will celebrate the holiday from morning to night. Guests can get an active start to their day through aerobics in the pool, live music, and traditional Christmas parties. Some events will include Taichi Lessons, a Chinese martial art and meditation discipline; bingo; Christmas games; and a unique, local Fideuà Party.
In the afternoon, kids can participate in a session writing letters to the beloved Santa Claus. At night, family and friends can gather around and experience a live performance.
As the night ends, a singer will perform Christmas carols and invite guests to sing along. The celebrations continue with a DJ party by the pool.
Christmas Day
In the morning, guests can begin the day with yoga sessions. Santa Claus and Christemas elves will then arrive at Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts for an event where children can be entertained, have pictures taken, join in singing and enjoy cookies. Santa will hand out presents and share moments with visiting children and their families.
After meeting with Santa, guests can view a screening of a traditional Christmas movie. Then later at night, guests can attend live musical events, to bring the day to an end for the kids, and adults get their turn as a live DJ will perform at a beach party with a Grinch theme.
After Christmas Parties
Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts will have several parties to continue the Christmas celebrations – From the 26-28DEC, there will be live shows with international DJs, where locals and visitors can come together and dance until midnight during La Hora Loca. Lessons by a salsa expert will be available for guests looking to brush up on their dancing skills before the ball drops on NYE.
New Year’s Eve
Guests staying at properties during New Year’s Eve can enjoy activities all day long. In the morning, guests can attend yoga classes or spa sessions. There will also be a chance to participate in martial arts classes. Soon after, guest can relax by the pool, as they participate in several traditional family games like bingo.
In the afternoon, visitors can gather in advance to experience a live instrumental gala. There will be a set of family activities such as an ice cream party, a final photo before the clock strikes 12, and traditional games. All guests are invited to the festivities. As guests start their final countdown five minutes before midnight, live bands and soloist singers will perform at various locations throughout the properties. Finally, an official farewell to 2021 will take place with a firework show.
New Year’s Day
Guests will start 2022 with a celebration where kids will get the chance to participate in the Kid’s New Year Olympic Games. For those who want to start the day late, brunch will be available until 3 p.m. local time – several games and activities will also be available at the pool during the morning.
In the afternoon, the hotel manager will host a cocktail party, and at night, guests can have an evening at the beach with the tropical atmosphere of the Coconut Party. For those with active New Year resolutions, dance classes will be offered at sunset. Guests are then invited to gather by the dance floor at nightfall and join an dance contest. The day will end with a tropical party and international music.
On 05JAN
Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts will celebrate a local tradition, commemorating the coming of the Three Wise Men, signalling the end of the Christmas season. Guests can gather to meet and greet Gaspar, Baltazar, and Melchor during a traditional parade. At the end of the event, children can take pictures and receive their presents.
