Trafalgar Celebrates International Women's Day with New Women's Only Tours

Trafalgar Tours WomenIn celebration of International Women’s Day 2022, Trafalgar is unveiling its new Women’s Only travel tours with a range of itineraries created by women, for women. Female clients can enjoy a vacation led by their expert, with an all-women team of Travel Directors and and Wellbeing Directors by their side, every step of the way. Trafalgar will be offering 13 new guided tours and exclusive departures which were created by female team members with itineraries across Europe, the U.K. and the Middle East, including Egypt and Jordan.

In the past 12 months, based on data and women’s travel trends, Trafalgar reports that it has seen a "significant interest" in women’s only tours as international destinations are ready to welcome back travellers. On these new Women's Only Tours, clients can share the joy of travel with like-minded female guests, all while exploring the world and connecting with women entrepreneurs, trail blazers and artisans in local communities.

On the 11-day Italy Bellissimo guided tour, women guests can enjoy a "MAKE TRAVEL MATTER" Experience and meet artisan weaver, Marta Cucchia in her atelier at Laboratorio Giuditta Brozzetti. A
skilled artisan keeping the ancient art of Perugian hand-weaving alive, Cucchia is the fourth generation ofwomen in her family to run the workshop.

On the 10-day Highlights of Turkey guided tour, female clients can meet other women in Turkey over lunch in the village of Demircidere at a ‘Be My Guest’ experience. They can connect with locals as they meet the women who work alongside men in their vineyards and olive groves, leading what has become known as Turkey’s "most equal society." Guests can gain a deeper understanding of the lives of these women while learning how to bake traditional bread and tasting local wine.
