Canada Jetlines announced it has chosen CheapOair, OneTravel, and CheapOair.ca as the first online travel agencies to provide access to the air carrier’s flights. All three brands are part of New York-based travel technology company Fareportal.

“We’re thrilled to be able to provide customers with a convenient turn-key travel experience at the click of a button,” shared Eddy Doyle, CEO of Canada Jetlines.

“We are pleased and honored to be the first online travel agencies to offer Canada Jetlines to air travelers,” says Werner Kunz-Cho, Fareportal Chief Executive Officer.

Canada Jetlines is set to begin flying in JUL 2022 from its Toronto hub and has selected the A320 as its fleet standard. With the goal of providing a guest centric experience, Jetlines will use a web booking platform, making the solution available to tour operators and consumers, according to the carrier.

Open Jaw launched its “Recipe for Starting an Airline” series featuring Canada Jetlines’ key players. Current video episodes feature Chief Pilot Randy Howe, Chief Engineer Brad Warren, CCO Duncan Bureau and Director of In-Flight Services & Airports Anup Anand, with more to come, sharing rare insights into what goes into creating a new airline.
